- Faculty
- Registration
- Orientation
- Support services (e.g., housing, dining, healthcare)
Importance
- Understanding of new students’ perceptions of their contacts with college representatives
- Identification of significant factors related to choosing to enroll at the college which can be used to enhance marketing efforts and increase enrollment
- Development of new student profile including demographic characteristics, where they come from, and their educational goals
- Information can be used to improve contacts with potential students
- Trend analysis to identify areas of improvement and/or decline
